![]() The Flos Bellhop is a wireless table lamp with dimmer function. Plywood and perspex were used in the development of the Pilot Table, 1999, and Stencil Screen, 2000. Hop from place to place and from direct to soft ambient light. Originating from the Bellhop table lamp design, the designers have flipped the arched diffuser upside down and elongated the body to nearly 6ft. Like a modern-day candle, it casts an atmospheric pool of light. Much of Barber and Osgerby’s early work involved the folding and shaping of sheet material, influenced by the white card that they had used frequently in architectural model making.
